Oliver Brüstle is a neuropathologist and a renowned expert in stem cell research. Following research activities at the University of Zurich and the NIH in Bethesda, Maryland, he now serves as Professor of Reconstructive Neurobiology at the University of Bonn Medical Center.		Christian E. Elger is a neurologist and head of the Department of Epileptology at the University of Bonn Medical Center, one of the internationally most renowned centres for the treatment and scientific investigation of epilepsies. The research interests of his working groups encompass the genetic, cellular and modular levels of brain functioning as well as the higher cognitive functions in man.
