NeuroCognition
The NEUROCOGNITION platform is focused on understanding the functional basis of cognitive processes. Functional brain imaging allows to localize specific brain functions and to identify functional deficits at an early stage of chronic neurological diseases. A combination of in-vivo and cellular approaches will provide crucial prerequisites for the early diagnosis of a large number of common neurological disorders, as well as for the development and evaluation of novel pharmacological compounds. Additionally, our increasing understanding of cognitive processes in humans is emerging as an essential tool in developing and streamlining marketing strategies.
